The Valley of Flowers in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand is a part of Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve and a UNESCO World Heritage Site which boasts of lush green Alpine meadows flush with vibrant wildflowers and home to various rare wildlife species. The trekking route is lined with enchanting views of the majestic Himalayas and ripples of brightly coloured diverse Himalayan flora, running through dense forests, expansive fresh meadows, and crossing many bridges, rivers and waterfalls on the way.
