The Kingdom of Bhutan (Dzongkha: འབྲུག་ཡུལ་, Druk Yul) is a small country in the Himalayas between Tibet and India. Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra Airport/NJP - Transfer to Phuentsholing, Bhutan
- Arrive at Bagdogra Airport.
- Transfer to Phuentsholing (4 hours).
- Check into hotel. Explore Phuentsholing if time permits.
- Overnight : Phuentsholing (Altitude: 300m)
Day 2: Phuentsholing to Thimphu (160 km)
- Complete permit and visa formalities.
- Travel to Thimphu, stopping at Gedu University and Chukha.
- Visit Kuensel Phodrang for views of Thimphu valley.
- Overnight : Thimphu (Altitude: 2,320m)
Day 3: Thimphu Sightseeing and Transfer to Punakha (72 km)
- Visit Takin Preserve Centre, TV Tower, and Simply Bhutan.
- Drive to Dochu-la pass for Himalayan views.
- Explore Punakha Dzong and Chimi Lhakhang.
- Overnight: Punakha & Wangdue (Altitude: 1,300m)
Day 4: Punakha to Paro Valley
- Drive to Paro via Simtokha Dzong.
- Visit Ta Dzong (National Museum) and Rinpung Dzong.
- Overnight : Paro (Altitude: 2,280m)
Day 5: Paro - Chelela Pass or Tiger's Nest Hike

- Drive to Chelela Pass, visit Dzongdrakha temple, Ta Dzong, and Rinpung Dzong.
- Overnight : Paro (Altitude: 2,280m)
*Option 2: Tiger's Nest Hike*
- Hike to Taktsang Monastery.
- Lunch at the tea house, explore Paro town.
- Overnight : Paro (Altitude: 2,280m)
Day 6: Paro to Phuentsholing
- Drive to Phuentsholing, visit Tschogang Lhakhang and Chukha Hydropower viewpoint.
- Overnight : Phuentsholing
Day 7: Departure from Phuentsholing to Siliguri/Bagdogra Airport
- Complete immigration exit process.
- Transfer to Siliguri or Bagdogra Airport.
